Clan Guide and Template

One of the first steps to creating your character at Shinobi Chronicles is to choose if they have a special ability that is specific to their bloodline. This is called a Kekkei Genkai and each clan has one. You can either choose an existing clan or create one of your own using the template below. If you decide to make a clan, put it in the clan section and then link it in Discord under the modding area “requests”. Please follow the guidelines listed below when making your clan.

1. A character can only be a part of two clans at one time. If both clans have advanced elements, you must choose one. You can take other benefits from the clan whose element you don’t choose.
2. If you would like to start without a clan, you can discover which you are a part of in character at a later time.
3. Advance Elements and Dojutsu will come with higher scrutiny due to their potential.
4. A Clan’s Kekkei Genkai must be balanced  with drawbacks that translate in character. For every bonus, there must be a drawback of equal value.
5. You can not directly copy another clan’s Kekkei Genkai. There has to be distinct differences in order to get approval.
6. A player can place restrictions on the use of their clan by other players.
7. Staff have final say in all clan abilities. Please respect their ruling.
